First of all, we have found some things we need to improve in terms of facilities and

reviewing our operations in order to receive a large number of orders, and

website failure, etc. I have found a number of issues that I need to resolve.

As you know, we are a small, very small store and we do most things ourselves, so it takes time.

And most of all, I am concerned about the health of our chef.

During the week before and after the opening of the restaurant,

he works more than 12 hours a day.

He works so hard that he doesn't even have time to eat lunch.

He had a tracheotomy in 2018 and breathes through a tube in his throat,

so the long hours are very demanding.

In addition, our valued servers also work without a break.

We decided that we should take a break and reconsider in order to protect their health.

The reopening date has not yet been set, but we will definitely be back.

Asian restaurant owners often hire employees from the same country.

However, we have not hired any Japanese so far.

We dare to hire young Canadians.

This is because we have decided that our company's mission is

 "To contribute to the local community through the restaurant business and to promote employment for young people. “

Our goal is to create a restaurant that will help revive the economy of downtown Duncan and provide a good environment for young people.

To do that, we need time.
